This is a list of what we generally accept as E-Waste.

Please note that it is always best for us to receive items in full/complete form rather then in parts. You do not need to remove cords, or any other part of the devices. In keeping with our circular economy principles our first step is restoration/recovery items in their original form or for/as parts, our aim is to extend the life of items, not end it prematurely. Sending items out as scrap / in pieces is our very last port of call.
This helps extend the life of all items and prevents unnecessary waste.

Strictly prohibited:
General waste including mattresses, general household rubbish, cardboard or building waste.
Bendigo E-Waste is not responsible for securing your data. Please contact us PRIOR to dropping off if you have any concerns about your data. We offer several Data destruction solutions at affordable prices. Any and all devices that are iCloud, Find My (apple) Google or passcode locked will be sent out as such and Bendigo E-Waste is not responsible for the security of your data.

We strongly encourage you to unlock your device and remove from iCloud, Find My (apple) Google ect, if you are unsure how to remove these or if you are unsure if you have fully unlocked and removed your information please contact us PRIOR to dropping off.
In line with our circular economy principles we always try to restore devices back to working/usable condition, when this isn't possible we offer the devices to repairers throughout Australia & Internationally. When a device is locked with any of the above this severely limits our options for recycling, because the lock is throughout the device making most components unusable, resulting in majority of the device becoming scrap value only.
